In the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in western North Carolina you can discover LifeWay’s Ridgecrest Conference Center, a 1,300-acre Christian conference center where you can leave your cares at the gate. Since its founding more than 100 years ago, Ridgecrest has welcomed over one million guests. Thru the years, God has continued to work in the lives of those visiting Ridgecrest. For those who love to shop, options abound in both nearby Black Mountain and Asheville.

Accommodations
Ridgecrest’s campus offers a variety of lodging accommodations and styles within easy walking distance to all meeting space. Deluxe hotels, Mountain Laurel Inn and Rhododendron, offer comfortable hotel accommodations and amenities such as hair dryers, in-room irons and ironing boards, coffeemakers and complimentary wireless internet throughout the building.
Standard hotels such as Pritchell and Maple offer in-room irons and ironing boards, as well as complimentary wireless internet, providing guests with economical options. Ridgecrest’s varied lodging options also include Walnut and Royal Gorge, perfect for families and youth trips.
Ridgecrest’s accommodations support a purpose greater than simply a place to sleep. Our mission is to point guests toward a closer relationship with Jesus Christ. For this reason, Ridgecrest does not have televisions in guest rooms. However, televisions are available in select fellowship areas throughout the campus.
Meeting Space
Our auditoriums and meeting rooms’ diversity, functionality and flexibility meet the space needs of any sized gathering, whether it be teaching sessions, conferences with exhibit space, concerts or banquets and receptions.
Ridgecrest also offers attractive space options for small group meetings or private conference rooms partitioned to any size.
Dining
The main dining room at Ridgecrest is located on the lower level of Rhododendron, a centralized location on campus. Eight serving lines and round table seating accommodate large numbers of guests quickly and efficiently.
Ridgecrest also offers plenty of unique Catering and Banquet spaces as well as individual dining options like Clouds coffee shop, Centennial Eatery food court and Nibble Nook, our old-fashioned ice cream counter and candy shop – a summer favorite.
Recreation
Ridgecrest’s diverse outdoor recreation options are a favorite of guests of all ages.
On any given day, visitors across the campus can enjoy our recreation area set against a backdrop of stunning mountains. The recreation area includes tennis, volleyball courts and ball fields. Play a round of miniature golf on a course that winds its way along a mountain stream.
Within the trees, adventure recreation includes team building exercises, a climbing tower, high ropes course and laser tag among the thick foliage. Guests interested in quiet and reflective moments can choose from a number of hiking trails that meander through the hardwood forest filled with Rhododendron and Mountain Laurel.
